Atalanta Sanders
Before joining the Bar, Atalanta worked as a criminal defence caseworker.
Atalanta worked in the Complex Crime department at Reeds Solicitors, where she worked closely with the Head of Complex Crime. Her work largely centred around the hack of the “EncroChat” network and the National Crime Agency’s Operation Venetic. She prepared cases across all stages of Crown Court litigation, working on a diverse caseload including drugs and money laundering conspiracies, firearms, and murder.
Alongside her work, she is also an active volunteer for the School’s Consent Project. Her role involves assessing new volunteers before they deliver workshops to children aged 11-18 about our rights and responsibilities surrounding sexual consent.
Atalanta has completed Youth Court training with the Inns of Court College of Advocacy and often represents young people charged with drugs and weapons offences.
Atalanta is a keen long-distance runner and formerly worked with competitive event horses.
