Corporate Social Responsibility
Below are details of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
25 Bedford Row is also committed to respecting and understanding the cultural needs of its diverse and global client base, and is committed to equality and diversity in both recruitment and the provision of services. For further information about this, please see our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion page.
Wellbeing at the Bar
In November 2025, Chambers was awarded a Wellbeing Certificate of Recognition by the Bar Council. This certificate recognises our efforts to promote and improve wellbeing within Chambers and at the Bar.

Bar Council Sustainability Network
25 Bedford Row is a member of the Bar Council Sustainability Network.
An initiative run in conjunction with Achill Management, a sustainability consultancy with expertise working with the legal profession. The Network provides a wide range of services and support to help the transition to a more sustainable way of working, saving not just carbon emissions but also costs.
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and moving towards more sustainable ways of working and living. By reducing our carbon footprint and tackling climate change, together we hope to achieve the Bar’s aim of being carbon neutral by 2030.

Koestler Arts
We have partnered with the leading arts charity Koestler Arts to display unique original artworks.
Koester Arts encourages people in the criminal justice system to change their lives by participating in the arts, aiming to motivate and support people in custody and on community sentences, including probation. Koester Arts seeks to ensure that the educational, social and well-being benefits of the arts are accessible to all.
Chambers is proud to support the charity and 13 individual artists from prisons, young offender institutions, secure hospitals, immigration centres and the community to showcase their work in our conference rooms and public spaces.

Living Wage Employer
25 Bedford Row is proud to be accredited as a Living Wage Employer.
This means that all employees and all contracted staff, such as cleaning staff, will be paid at or above a minimum hourly rate which is set annually by the Living Wage Foundation and calculated by the Greater London Authority.

Women in Law Pledge
We are proud signatories to the Women in Law Pledge created by the Bar Council of England and Wales, The Law Society, and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx). We are committed to the progress of equality, elimination of sex discrimination and pledge to make positive change for the legal profession.
