25 Bedford Row secure murder acquittals at the Central Criminal Court

Members of 25 Bedford Row represented 3 of 5 defendants charged with the murder of Jozef Boci following an altercation in the South Pole night club in Greenwich. The defendants were forced to leave the club after an argument with an Albanian man and his friends. The prosecution alleged that all five defendants armed themselves and waited near or outside the club for Mr Boci and his friends to leave. Mr Boci later died from his injuries. Jeremy Dein QC and Sheryl Nwosu represented Ibraheim James who was acquitted of murder but convicted of manslaughter. Tom Price QC and Ben Smitten represented Abare Campbell, acquitted of both murder and manslaughter. Judy Khan QC and Laurie-Anne Power represented Dominic Brown, acquitted of murder, manslaughter and assisting an offender.
