Following recent publication of the Attorney General’s “Review of the efficiency and effectiveness of disclosure in the Criminal Justice system “ , the panel chair Jeremy Dein QC, will put the spotlight on all aspects of this long awaited review. This will be an evening of practical information and discussion as to the impact of the Attorney General’s recommendations, with special emphasis upon the future duties, responsibilities, arguments and options for the defence. Has the review thrown up any meaningful recommendations? Alternatively, has the long delay produced more of the same and nothing new? These issues need urgent debate .
Disclosure is important as never before to the role of the defence.
