National Security Appeal to be heard by the High Court

Alex Jamieson is instructed as Special Advocate for LetterOne in a National Security Appeal to be heard by the High Court.

At a four day hearing in the Administrative Court this week, Farbey J will hear LetterOne's challenge to the Secretary of State's decision that forced it to sell a UK broadband provider on grounds of national security.

The case marks the first consideration of the legality of the exercise of powers created under section 26 of the National Security and Investment Act 2021 in the Courts. Further coverage is available in the specialist press here.
