Nick’s practice covers both the magistrates’ and the crown court, representing clients in all areas of criminal defence.
Nick graduated from the University of St Andrews before completing a graduate entry law degree at City University London, where he also completed his BPTC.
During his studies, Nick was appointed to the Independent Monitoring Board at HMP Brixton, where he monitored and reported on conditions faced by those in custody. He was later appointed Vice Chair of the board. He was also a student advisor for the Matrix / City University Schools Exclusion Project, dealing with sensitive cases on behalf of young people at risk of being excluded from school.
As a student, Nick represented his university on a national level in the ICLR moot and at the finals weekend of the Blackstones / OUP Criminal Advocacy Competition. He was the winner of the City University mooting competition.
