Emily Cook

Emily Cook has over 20 years of experience in all areas of criminal law. She was a pupil, and then tenant at 25 Bedford Row for 10 years. She then relocated to Devon and has been a barrister at Devon Chambers in Plymouth ever since.

She has substantial experience in the most serious violence,  sex and drugs cases. Emily has acted as sole counsel (often against KCs) as well as a leading and led junior.

Her clear passion and commitment inspires confidence in those she represents. She is a fearless advocate in court. Her down to earth approach enables her to present complex evidence in a persuasive way to juries.

She has provided advocacy training on the Western Circuit and has acted as a pupil supervisor.
