Charlie was promoted to Senior Practice Clerk in January 2024. He began his career in clerking at Chambers in January 2014, before moving to a crime & extradition specialist set in 2018. Charlie returned to 25 Bedford Row in March 2019 as a Practice Clerk. His role in Chambers includes diary management, the day to day running of the diary, all aspects of case administration and providing professional clients with the highest quality service. Charlie also plays a keen role in the development of the junior tenants and junior clerks.

Charlie has achieved the BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration. This professional qualification is set nationally and certifies competence as a barrister’s clerk.

Charlie is a member of the Institute of Barristers' Clerks.

Outside of Chambers, Charlie is a keen footballer. Prior to clerking he attended Monroe College in New York City on a soccer scholarship.
