Alex has a busy Crown Court practice defending people accused of drugs offences, serious violence, domestic abuse, dishonesty offences and weapons offences.

Alex acts as led junior or junior alone.  

As junior alone, Alex regularly defends in cases involving allegations of serious violence as well as drugs offences. Alex has particular experience representing youths and vulnerable individuals with mental health difficulties.

Alex is often commended for her excellent client care.

Before starting her career at the Bar, Alex was a paralegal in the Serious and General Crime department of an eminent criminal defence firm. She has also worked as a mental health paralegal, advocating for the discharge of individuals detained under the Mental Health Act and as a Vocalise volunteer, where she taught prison inmates key debating skills. Alexandra has volunteered at the National Centre for Domestic Violence. Her LLM focused on an analysis of the Modern Slavery Act for which she obtained a Distinction grade.
