Suspended Sentence for Man Accused of Selling Fake COVID-19 Treatment Kits

Mr Ludlow received a 10-month suspended sentence at Portsmouth Crown Court after pleading guilty to breaches of the regulatory regime by manufacturing, possessing and attempting to supply an unauthorised medicinal product labeled as ‘Trinity Anti-Pathogenic Treatment’.

There was evidence that Mr Ludlow had contacted various governments concerning his product, and held a genuine belief in the efficacy of the product. However, Mr Ludlow stated that his actions were ‘born out of frustration with the government’ and he accepted that he had breached the regulatory regime.
