Jurors imprisoned for contempt of court

John Cooper QC and Richard Furlong represented one of the jurors who faced proceedings in the High Court concerning internet use during a trial. Both jurors were sentenced to two months imprisonment. The case was prosecuted in person by the Attorney General Dominic Grieve QC.
