Jeremy Dein QC returns from Hong Kong Law Asia Conference 2019

Jeremy Dein QC returns from Hong Kong following major involvement in the Law Asia Conference 2019.

There were in excess of 700 lawyers in attendance from all over Asia. In addition to judging rounds of the International Moot Competition, Jeremy was a key member of the Human Rights panel along side leading experts from Hong Kong and Australia. He was also invited to lecture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong on “Life as a Criminal defence Silk in the modern world".

Jeremy returns to Asia in December. He, together with door tenant Professor Luke Marsh (Chinese University of Hong Kong) are commissioned by the Chinese Supreme People’s Procuratorate to write and present a week long fair trial and advocacy course for prosecutors in Shenzhen, China. This historical event will take place between 1 and 5 December 2019. Approximately 70 selected delegates, from throughout China, will be in attendance.
