Diminished responsibility accepted in murder case

Tom Price QC and Michael Neofytou secured a hospital order for Buck Smith, a 50 year old man who killed his 86 year old mother on 27th December 2012. Following detailed psychiatric investigations, the prosecution accepted a plea to manslaughter by way of diminished responsibility. They were instructed by Neville Gray of FMW Law.
