David Wood secures acquittal in £1.6m conspiracy to steal

In summer 2016, over the course of three consecutive weekends, a lorry on false plates was used to steal over £1.6m worth of car parts from the DHL warehouse at Erdington, Birmingham, run on behalf of Jaguar Land Rover. Four men stood trial over the last three weeks for their alleged part in that conspiracy to steal. One man entered a guilty plea, the prosecution dropped the case against another, but two others - including David's client - were acquitted by the jury after a little under a day's deliberation.
