Cardiff 'hit-and-run' driver made subject of hospital order

Matthew Trvdon, represented by Paul Keleher QC, was made the subject of a hospital order following his plea to manslaughter and seven counts of attempted murder as a result of running down 13 people in Cardiff last October.  The judge at Cardiff Crown Court  acceded to defense submissions that the right place for the defendant to be detained was a hospital and not prison.
