First British woman sentenced for terror offences linked to Syria

Natalie Sherborn (instructed by Carl Newman of Steel & Shamash and led by Mark Summers QC of Matrix Chambers) represented Amal El-Wahabi, who arranged for €20,000 to be transferred to her partner who travelled to Syria to join a jihadi group as a foreign fighter. She received a sentence of 28 months 7 days.
