Bill Maley

It is with huge sadness that we announce the death of a long-standing member of Chambers, Bill Maley, who died on the 4th April 2021.

Bill had been unwell for some time, he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, of whom he was endlessly proud of.  

Bill was a member of Chambers for over 30 years. He was a staunch and committed defence barrister, whose robust approach and plain speaking advocacy was a credit to Chambers. Bill was a Chambers' stalwart, universally popular and always supportive. All at 25 Bedford Row send their deepest condolences to Bill’s family. He will be truly missed, but remembered with respect, fondness, and warmth.
