Acquittal of "Cyber-Jihadist"

Tyrone Smith QC represented Younes Tsouli who was alleged to have committed fresh acts of terrorism whilst in prison nearing the end of a sixteen year sentence for incitement to murder. A search of Tsouli’s cell had uncovered a copy of a banned Al Quaeda publication which included instructions on how to make a bomb concealed in printer toner. Tyrone Smith successfully argued that he had a reasonable excuse for possession of the material.
