UKSLA Equalities Seminar

On 16 October Jo Sidhu QC joined Supreme Court Judge Lord Carnwath to speak to 200 students on the historical progress in promoting equality at the Bar. The event was hosted by Lincoln's Inn and organised by the UK Law Students' Association.

In his capacity as Joint Chair of the Society of Asian Lawyers and Vice Chair of the Bar Council's Equality & Diversity Committee, Jo addressed what initiatives the profession had undertaken to tackle inequality faced particularly by women and BME barristers.
