Fixed Term Tenancies
Chambers is exceptionally busy and we are always looking to recruit candidates of outstanding ability.
In order to cope with the volume of work and to increase the diversity of applicants we are offering a small number of Fixed Term Tenancies, initially for periods of one or two years, which are capable of being converted to full membership of Chambers. Applicants must have at least 6 to 12 months’ experience of courtroom advocacy and be of outstanding ability. We welcome applicants from differing professional backgrounds and levels of experience.
The volume of work is such that Fixed Term Tenants should normally be in court almost every day, both magistrates’ and Crown, depending on call and ability. Such tenants are not distinguished from full members when presented to clients or court and will enjoy the exactly same degree of support from other members and the clerks in order to help them develop their practices.
Please apply in writing with your CV to Guy Williams, Director of Clerking at 25 Bedford Row, London, WC1R 4HD or via email.
