Sian is a second six pupil with Chambers under the supervision of Monica Stevenson.

Before commencing pupillage in October 2019, Sian spent three years gaining considerable experience in criminal defence work as assistant to Paul Harris, Senior Partner of Edward Fail, Bradshaw & Waterson. Sian worked on a broad spectrum of cases, from shopliftings to charges arising from the Hillsborough disaster. An integral part of her role at Edward Fail was working as a fully accredited police station representative.

Prior to this, Sian spent time volunteering for a number of legal charities including Liberty, Fair Trials and Reprieve. She also spent time working on death row cases at the Louisiana Capital Assistance Centre in New Orleans.
