POLICY STATEMENTS
BarMark and Quality Assurance policy
In December 1999, Chambers was the first in the country to be awarded the BarMark. This is an independent award for quality, assessed by the British Standards Institute (BSI). The standards are set by the Bar Standards Board and cover all aspects of management and administration in Chambers, from the acceptance of briefs to the recruitment of pupils. In order to maintain this qualification, auditors from BSI attend chambers each year and spend 2 – 3 days auditing and verifying the processes and procedures in Chambers, to ensure we are meeting the standards required. We are very proud of the fact that we have successfully retained our BarMark qualification.
