Our experienced team of clerks and administrative staff maintains the high standards that enabled us to become the first chambers in the UK to be granted the Bar Mark - an initiative that was proposed by the Bar Council and awarded by the British Standards Institute.

We are re-assessed regularly to ensure that the levels of service and client care we provide comply with the International Standard for Quality Management Systems [ISO 9000]

We pride ourselves on maintaining good staff relations and continuity of employment demonstrates our success: our senior clerk, Guy Williams, has been with Chambers since 1983 and was appointed to his present post in 1998 and Stephen Lucas in 1989. We believe their accumulated experience is one of our great strengths.

We recognise that our solicitors have differing requirements of chambers and our clerks try to visit all our firms on a regular basis to see how we can best meet your particular needs. We believe that feedback from our solicitors helps us to find ways to improve our service to you and your lay clients.

We have a suite of 5 dedicated conference rooms, which are able to accommodate conferences of all sizes. We have a wireless network allowing you immediate internet access from any of these rooms, so that researching the latest authorities, establishing a case listing or simply collecting your e-mail is just a click away.

We provide continuing professional development by means of lectures and seminars, both in chambers and at the offices of our solicitors.

Chambers undertakes both privately funded and legally aided work. Briefs are accepted upon the business terms set out in Annexe G1 of the Code of Conduct for the Bar, a copy of which is available upon request. Private fees can be discussed with the clerks and are dependant on the circumstances of the case. Please contact the Senior Clerk Guy Williams if you wish to discuss any aspect of any fee structure.

Our Administrator, Jacky Chase is your contact for all non-clerking matters, such as booking seminars and if you have any queries over fees, you can speak to Sarah, our fees clerk.

Our barristers and staff always aim to deliver the highest possible levels of service to all our clients. However, if you feel that any matter has not been dealt with to your satisfaction and would like to make a complaint, please contact the Senior Clerk, Guy Williams, who will acknowledge your complaint and will provide details of our complaints process.
