Professor Michail Wladimiroff was called to the Bar in Holland in 1972. He is an advocate at Wladimiroff & Waling N.V., The Hague. He is professor of economic criminal law at Utrecht University. He is the author of specialist books on Dutch criminal law and procedure and has published articles on criminal responsibility of businesses and management, as well as on international humanitarian law. He initiated and participated in the establishment of educational bodies of the Dutch Bar and other organisations. He lectures at domestic and international seminars. He is chairman of the Criminal Law Committee of the Dutch Bar, and president of the International Criminal Law Network. He co-founded the Dutch Criminal Bar Association and the European Criminal Bar Association, of which he presently is an honorary member. Professor Wladimiroff acted as lead defence counsel in Prosecutor v Tadic before the ICTY, co-counsel in Prosecutor v Musema before the ICTR, and amicus curiae in Prosecutor v Milosevic before the ICTY. He represented the Republic of Liberia before the ICJ concerning the Special Court for Sierra Leone arrest warrant of President Charles Taylor.

Dr. Cornelie Waling was called to the Bar in Holland in 1991. She obtained a magna cum laude doctor's degree at the Freiburg University in Germany. She is deputy judge in the Amsterdam Court of Appeals and a former member for the crown in the Counsel for Environment in the Netherlands. She is author or co-author of specialist books on (environmental) criminal law and has published articles on various issues of criminal law, specifically on criminal responsibility. She participates in educational bodies of the Dutch Bar and other organisations and lectures at seminars. She is member of Criminal Law Committee of the Dutch Bar, the Dutch Criminal Bar Association, the European Criminal Bar association, the Assocation Internationale de Droit Pénal and the International Bar Association. Dr. Waling represented numerous cases before the Supreme Court of the Netherlands and takes cases before the European Court of Human Rights.
