REGULATORY AND DISCIPLINARY

Chambers has built its professional disciplinary and regulatory expertise from the foundations of a well-established criminal and fraud practice and has acted for solicitors, accountants, professional sports persons and police officers, amongst others, before their respective professional bodies and at disciplinary tribunals and regulatory authorities.

Members frequently appear in parallel proceedings involving criminal prosecutions, inquests and disciplinary inquiries.

Chambers can offer considerable expertise in relation to sports law extending to specialist contractual advice for sports people & bodies (including professional footballers/clubs/federations), representation of sports people at disciplinary tribunals (in particular the FA & Boxing Board of Control), the resolution of sporting disputes and expertise in early stage advice in potential criminal/quasi-criminal proceedings.

Health and safety experience encompasses aspects of contentious regulatory work from pollution offences to corporate manslaughter and we offer advisory work relating to risk management, health and safety policies and due diligence.
